Thanks for the information! I definitely have seen a difference in my body!! You’re the first person I’ve decided to join on line! Your system works! I’ve been ill with Addison’s disease for 15 years now. Very difficult because of the steroids I have to take. But that’s ok. I’m doing this and I know it’s working!!!! Thanks again!!!
I forgot to mention I’ve had pretty much every joint replaced. Both shoulders, both hips, and my left leg four times!!! Last one was an actual femur fracture. These steroids are killing me! I’ve had 4 strokes already.
Excellent information!! Its so good to be reminded of all of these thought processes and facts. I 100% agree about the scale being from the devil. Hahaha it’s truly more important how you feel when you look in the mirror or when you put your clothes on or how you physically feel throughout the day.
The emotional or habit eating is a big issue for alot of us I like your practical ideas regarding going for a walk or weight training or finding another good habit to replace a bad habit is so important.(or hobby) Thanks again for all of your encouragement for all of us out here who are trying to stay healthy. We are preventing our bodies from getting illnesses as well as staying physically fit to enjoy our lives to the best of our abilities!
Hi, I am 75 years old. I had a stroke at 50. I have exercised my whole life. Have had trouble with my legs the last 5 years I walk with a cane. I have been in physical therapy on and off for years but didn’t really help long term .
I have been exercising with you for a couple of months I feel like I might be walking without a cane in the near future. I can’t exercise as often as I would like. I have pain in my legs but I do as much as I can they are getting stronger. Thank you thank you! You are giving me hope.
Hey Coach D!! I agree with what you shared with us especially the Scale is not my friend! Me personally, I definitely lose inches way better than pounds. I would fall off every time if I only relied on the scale.
Just STOP IT. Just STOP…stop, STOP it. I loved the clip. Thanks for the info and the short&sweet and real presentation of it. Kinda like the opposite of Nike; Just do it . Yours’s — OUR’S must be; Just STOP IT. Especially us emotional eaters… or reward eaters. Back in the day I did intermittent fasting but it wasn’t called that…..it was just a dexatrim or similar or a shake and fasting. Some of the old ways weren’t so horrible. Some I need to revisit and the one meal a day, on some days, should help. I love your words of ” just do something else… SLEEP”, I think was mentioned first. I am so lacking in that and know that it contributes to my buddah belly. So, off I go with words of wisdom and the 6 keys tips: PROTEIN, Less Calories, LIFT weights, FIBER, Don’t over-train & Don’t OVER scale on a post-it note on my computer. Muchas Gracias.
Those are great tips! I’ve had to step back from getting on the scale because it was doing more harm than good to my emotional well being. I would get sooooo discouraged by the scale if it didn’t move the way I THOUGHT it should. There are many NSV that I focus on rather than the scale.
I also have to remember to eat enough protein and watch my portions. I do IF, but find that if i super hungry I’ll snack on things I shouldn’t which tells me I’m missing something in my meals….still tryna find that sweet spot!
You are so right I know I would get on the scales every day it would depress me because my weight would go up and down when I Would game Weight I would get mad and say the scales are wrong so I let my clothes tell me if I’m Losing or gaining that is better for me
Well. you hit it right the scale is not fun. Sometimes I look at it then say what now scale.
I did buy a scale to measure portions. I was eating way past upward then I realized.
Thanks for the tips. . I found this to be uplifting. Thanks . This the best membership only

6 key points to keep and be mindful of. My IF program makes me weigh in weekly. I know and remember thanks to you, the scale is the Devil, joking aside. Weight bearing exercises for women my age protecting their bone health, muscle mass will add weight to the scale, so all good points Coach D, thanks.
